2014 is here and you know what that means, time to make New Year’s resolutions! Here at foodjunky, we’re trying to be healthy, whether it’s taking the stairs to work or walking down Woodward Ave to pick up lunch instead of getting it delivered.
One trick to keeping a New Year’s resolution is to have it be SMART (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, Time-bound). Instead of making your resolution “be healthier” or “lose weight,” you might find having specific healthy habits like “drink 64 oz of fluids a day” easier to make. Aside from carrying around a reusable water bottle, we’re huge fans of CK Mediterranean’s Juice Bar because you can mix and match juices that help you control cholesterol, aging, or fatigue. We tried the Pick Me Up and liked the fresh combination of cucumber, carrot, and beet. [View C.K.’s menu]
Tell us your New Year’s resolution and how you plan on keeping it this year. Bonus points for SMART resolutions!
